Stabilization and Fixation
Stabilization and fixation are performed in cases of bone fractures. Stabilization during fractures provides pain relief and can limit further damage. Most fractures need to be fixed as the healing process practically begins at the moment of the fracture. Different types of fractures, such as neck fractures, back fractures, leg fractures, ankle fractures, and forearm and wrist fractures, require different types of products for stabilization/fixation.
